A run of mission updates from Marty, on the back of a large performance audit across Chernarus and Takistan:
- Optional accelerated day/night cycle — admins can enable a gradual day→night over a match (default 90 min day / 30 min night, adjustable). Smoother dawn/dusk transitions.
- High-climbing improvements — smoother assistance for tanks on steep hills, for both players and AI, without sudden acceleration.
- AI-movement recovery — mouse-wheel actions to recover stuck AI without regrouping them to you.
- Artillery ammunition simplified — one upgrade level now unlocks all special rounds, refreshed automatically on existing artillery.
- Performance & UI — combat map-icon blinking off by default, optimized town/camp server loops, a lighter FPS-only HUD toggle, and clearer WF upgrade-menu feedback (shows the upgrade currently in progress).
- Tactical Center — pick artillery ammunition directly; clearer player map labels when riding in vehicles; town defenses react more reliably during captures.
