Dev sprint, week 1 — foundations

Week one of the mission overhaul program, working on our fork of the V48 lineage.

Supply helicopters landed first: one per side, flying supply crates between bases and depots, with paid cash-run contracts for pilots (and a cut for the commander). Then commander-buildable defense positions — real fortification compositions placed anywhere on the map, designed in our WDDM tool — plus modular base walls.

The drone program opened: commander-ordered Ka-137 saturation strikes (a four-drone package with flare escorts) and a recon UAV orbiting where you point it.

Alongside the new systems, community branches from Marty were merged and shipped: a longer, adjustable day/night cycle with a clock display in the Warfare menu, and an artillery ammo selector in the Tactical Center — pick your shell, see it named in the strike notification.

Next week: the big QoL bundle goes live, and something new takes command.
