The June feature bundle went live on the server this week: supply helicopters, buildable defenses, the upgrade queue (stack LF1 → LF2 → LF3 with cumulative timers instead of babysitting each level), an earplugs toggle in the WF menu, engineer EASA control over factory loadouts, and a conservative server-AI performance tune.
Behind the scenes, the biggest thing this project will ship took its first breath: on June 10 an AI commander deployed to the experimental server for the first time. Version zero could found army groups, build factories, capture towns, research, call artillery, and hunt the enemy HQ — crudely, but autonomously. A structured telemetry stream (per-town state, order of battle, hardware kills) shipped with it, because everything that came after was tuned from soak data, not vibes.
Also in the works: the player stats format that will feed the website leaderboard, and a skin selector prototype.
