The headline: GUER debuted as a third playable side. Resistance players spawn from friendly towns instead of a base, fund their buy menu through kill income, and field a warlord's arsenal — car-bomb VBIEDs, a Ka-137 gunship, and a full ground roster. Chernarus first, Takistan a day later, live on the server by the end of the week.
The AI commander had its first full-day soak on the production Chernarus server — and the lessons were immediate. The prototype could fight but couldn't finish, so a ground-up rebuild began mid-week: one offensive authority instead of four sub-systems quietly fighting each other. That rebuild becomes the brain every later build tunes.
Map marker performance was consolidated (one town-wide reveal instead of per-gunner spam), and the live stats pipeline entered final testing.
Next week: carriers, and the sprint that turns into a build-a-day blitz.
