June update — supply by air, offshore carriers, and a third faction

The Warfare V48 Chernarus server has picked up a big batch of features. Here's what's new on the field — and on the site.

On the server:

  • Supply helicopters — once your commander pushes the Supply upgrade, the Support class can run supplies by air instead of by truck. Light helos (UH-60 / Mi-17) unlock at Supply 2; heavy CH-47s at Supply 3, hauling more cargo and even paying out as cash. Faster, and they skip the ground chokepoints.
  • Naval HVT — three capturable offshore carriers now sit off the Chernarus coast. Take Khe Sanh Charlie and your side unlocks a one-off SCUD strike. They start under insurgent control, so you'll have to fight through GUER air cover to claim them.
  • GUER Insurgents — a third, harass-focused faction (when the host enables it). No bases, no commander — a funds stipend that grows as they lose ground, and a vehicle pool that unlocks the longer the match runs. Hit-and-run against both main sides.
  • AI Commander — every side without a human commander now runs an AI one that buys units, captures towns, and techs up. No more leaderless teams sitting idle.

See the Factions & sides, Supply missions, and Support & special weapons guides for the details.

On the site:

  • Leaderboards are live — in-game scores are now on the leaderboard, as promised at launch.
  • Guides refreshed — every guide has been brought up to date with the current mission, plus two new ones (Factions & sides, Support & special weapons).
